not shur if it is a ball joint

ok here it is when i take off i got to turn the wheel to keep it going streaght. Then on the highwat when i kick it down to pass a car it will pull to the right then swereve to the left a lil then pull back to the right. The guy i got it from said it needed balljoints but i am un shur what one to change first i will do both of them but i want to do the bad one first seeing how my fundings are short. does this sound like the ball joints are bad an if so what one should i change first. O ya the car is a 91 Maxima SE Dogomadic
