Kia Sportage 97

After looking around for a week or so I have decide to buy a 97 Kia Sportage.
1.Are the parts easy to find and cheap?
2.What should I look out for be concerned about when buying one?
3. Whats the re-sale on them?

Its got 72k on the clock and very clean.

Any advice would be appreciated

Pre 2001 Sportages were problematic. In more ways than can be described here.

My advice is unless you are car repair savy, stay away from it.

Re: Kia Sportage 97

well a few things first i would check to see if all of the 70,000 mile maintence stuff has been changed. such as timing belt, and what not. then what to look for as in issues are the locking hubs and the valve covers tend to leak early for a car.

other then that i would check the basics for a used car.
