Ok, I have a lot of race stories about my cars. I had a 97 Firebird V6, I had headers and 40 seris flowmaster. One was when I raced my friend he has a 94 sonoma, V6, shift kit, lowered, 342 gears, headers and full exhaust system the first time we raced it was from a 15 mph roll, when he first took off he pulled away on me by just a little bit i would fell back to the back of his cab, but as soon as we shifted i would pull right up next to him and just continue to walk away from him from there. Then we went from a stop, the first race I just straight up murdered him I got great traction and he got none, then we went again from a stop and we both got traction and dead even through first gear and then i pulled away on him again. that time 1 of his exhaust hangers broke. Another race with him was in my 97 sierra, short bed, standard bed, 350 vortec, 40 seris also vs his dads 96 sierra, 454 vortec, ext. cab, long bed, we went from a stop, both got good traction I took off on him in 1st and 2nd gears he was to my tailgate and then in 3rd it looked like he was inching back back up and then towards the end of that gears I took off and beat him by atleast 4 or 5 cars my frined said.

first off how did the flowmaster 40 sound on a v6? my dad had it on his 94 3.4 and it sounded like crap. And what are you doing racing trucks?lol. Some good races tho concerdering you have a v6.

I've seen my friends truck take a 3.4 camaro a couple times and my v6, 3.8 firebird has beat a 305 rs camaro that only had exhaust many times. My 97 Sierra is faster than what my bird is, I've beatin cars that I couldn't beat in my bird. Anybody else have race stories? Lets hear them.

well, i just recently bought my '95 TA, but so far I've raced an R32 in the rain and then just tonight i took out some guy in a red eclipse that had some kind of aftermarket exhaust, fun stuff but im looking for more people to race and i should find plenty with spring break being next week..

Heres some of the races ive been in with my 94 TA

conquered: an awesome beefed up super bee blew me off the line but by 80 mph i past him like he was standing still, 78 350 vette easily, 87 89 94 96 98 mustangs all manuals, 96 97 camaro both auto's, 96 formula auto (won 2/3), 79 TA w/ 455 olds auto, and a bunch of real shitty cars that i dont even count as races cuz they wasn't even close.

been conquered by: 99 TA manual one of the closest races ive had besides the 89 mustang and the formula. believe it or not. the TA beat me by 3/4 of car length each time raced twice. And my worst race was against an 04 mustang GT who just really put an ass whoopin on me. that race wasn't even close. it was my first time losing to a stang and i hated it, still hate it two years later
