Security light blinks car wont start for 10 minutes

I have an 01 impala and one day i went to crank it up and it would not start the security light blinks three times and i will not crank for 10 minutes after that i take the key out and put it back in and it cranks like normal. it happens to me atlest once a month. is there a cheap remidy? is there a way i can disconect the securty system? Help me Please

I dont think there is a quick cheap fix, I'm pretty sure that its going to be a failing passlock. Possibly something with the BCM, or even the ignition cylinder. but I havent heard much about this.
