automatic trans in a prelude / performance
I was just wondering how much of a performance hit does having an automatics transmission take in a prelude 1997 or newer?

Re: automatic trans in a prelude / performance
You'll thank yourself later if you go with the M/T. I think Honda only claims a 5 or so HP loss with the auto tranny, but overall the auto is a slower car. Plus there are some reliability concerns with the auto. Wait and find one that is a stick.

You'll pat yourself on the back after getting a manual.

Re: automatic trans in a prelude / performance
Are auto ludes really that bad? I own a 98 lude, and it's auto, and it doesn't to be all that bad.

No comparison between an auto and a manual.
