Heads up Ferrari fans: Fujimi just posted pics of the F430 Spider

Pics just added to their website. Looks ready to go, well proportioned and there's an uptop too.

FINALLY they got smarter and figured people wanted the open holes for the mesh... now they are on the right track!

I strongly suspect that some of Tamiya's people defected over to Fujimi.

While open mesh doesn't impress me much (because it's so darn easy to make with a brass mesh), they just keep improving their kits (like the inner door of the Murcielago Roadster), they're like a completely different company now. Incredible.
Another new exciting release of the month is the RE Amemiya widebody FD3S. Way cool.

Re: Heads up Ferrari fans: Fujimi just posted pics of the F430 Spider

The F430 I put together fit as well as any Tamiya kit I've ever built. The body was fantastically molded, and all the parts were quite cleverly engineered. It may not be as complex as the Tamiya kits of old, but is every bit as good. The few details they do include are well executed, and their interiors have improved by leaps and bounds. There are a few little rough edges they still need to smooth over (taillights in that particular kit come to mind) but I think overall, they are turning it around. They're making well proportioned, easy to build kits, that even have good ride hight straight from the box! Way to go, Fujimi! I am looking forward to more kits from them.

The only problem now is that Fujimi needs to get Tamiyas distribution here in the States!!!

Sorry, it's not in March, but in April. Initial D No. 21.

Oh, and also in April is the Super America from Fujimi.
