Render???

I've been reading some of the forums and lots of times i've seen the words:
RENDER/RENDERING/RENDERED

can any1 tell me what they mean?

(1) sketching
rough drawing done within a few minutes to show a design/layout idea. Can be done with pencil, color pencil or a ballpoint pen or etc. Mostly monochrome (one single color). reflections and shadings are often left out due less time.

(2) rendering
making a realistic drawing of your sketch for presenting a proceeded idea to the public. very detailed. can be done with markers, crayons, airbrush, color pencils pencil sometimes or photoshop. Takes hours. Has perfect perspectivve, lighting and shadows are applied.

it doesnt have to be a car, it can be an object and i can apply the technique to the car drawing

if you want to you can jus click edit and add watever you want to your first comment then you wouldntnhave to worry about the double post...but its okay weve all done it before
