I just had my car painted and I had them take the moldings off to be painted black...I wanted the black trim all around. Anyway, the clips on the moldings need to be replaced because they break when you take em out. Bottom line, the new clips cost around $50 per door and the smaller piece on both fenders and rear panel has no replacement clips. They sell em with the moldings..and they cost $27 a piece. So anyone of you planning on painting your moldings, just keep em in your car and just tape it up. Or spend a little over $200 for new ones.:flash:
