Need some opinion **parent problem**.

Well I just sold my car yesterday ( cause I want a 5 speed turbo dsm ). My parent thought that im selling my car, cause I want a new car, so I dont spent time and money to babe it like I did to my RS). They keep pushing me to buy a new car, like 2006 civic si ( piece of crap ). And one more thing, they dont want me to drive stick any more, in my generation over 60 people, im is the only one know how to drive a stick, most people in my familly alway drive a auto lexus, auto acura, but mostly lexus. And about my 94 eclipse, they dont know I bought the car long time ago. I want to ask is, how can I tell my parent that I already have a 94 eclipse with 5 speed manual. I want use this car for daily drive and go work, save money until I can find a turbo dsm. My parent hate old car park in front of big house . Please dont be mean to my parent, just give me some opinion that my parent let me drove this 94 and save money and do my own thing,

one thing I can think of, to make my parent let me drive this 94, is keep asking them to take me some where and pick me up, borrow there car and go home late, until they tire of it and just let me drive any car I want, so i dont give them any more problem .

Well, I would just be straight with them, like I was with my parents when I found my DSM. Just tell them you've found a car to get you by for a little while until you find the car you want and that you got a hell of a deal on it ($50 right?). I would just tell them its your car, your life, and your money and that you would appreciate it if they respected your decision.

I like the '06 Civic SI.

For your parents situation, just explain to them your plan about just driving it temporarily until you find the car you really want. If they don't care that thats what you want, tell them you can't afford anything better and that they have to buy you something better if they expect you to drive a nicer car.

Or just tell them to piss off. That usually works for me.

Tell them it's only until you get a new car. Then get the turbo dsm and they'll see how sexy it is and forget why they were mad...

yes it $50, the guy at the dealer I bought to, he willing pay me $500 for it. I cant tell my parent to piss off, if I do I will be on street for a week .

Have I ever said this? You are my hero, thats all I am going to say, I would ask them for money then so you can get a Pretty car like the 98 99 GSeX, and say you'll pay them back. So they don't have to look at an ugly 94 =)

Just tell them You bought a car for $50, with your own money. That is pretty responsible, plus you do your own maintenance and repairs on the $50 car which is very responsible. They should have some respect for that and let you do your own thing. Just point out the obvious, you are a responsible person and you can decide what is best for you.

Well today I take my friend, to go to the title place ( 1 hours drive ). To get a replacment title ( cause he lost his ). I pay $34 for new title. After every thing done, he take me to my friend appartmant ( where I park my eclipse ), I drove the eclipse home, park next to the garage ( where I parent going to park next when they get home) Then I told my brother to take me to school, after I get home, I was scare, well after get inside, say hi to my dad and mom, then my dad ask me " is that the car you bought ?" I say " yes" then I try to ignore go fast to my room, then my dad ask me" go turn on the car and let me heard the engine " I was suprise !!, I got turn the car on, then he say "rev it", I rev 3 time, then my dad ask me, do you have the title, I say yes, and he ask me how much I was paying ? after little chat, I told him , Im going to use this car for now, until I can save up more money and get better car ( TURBO ). My dad and mon was happy, PHEW !!! I fell so much relive !!. Tomorrow I will pull the car in the garage and put in vavoline max life high mile 10w/30, and penzoil sycomest tranny fluid, and ngk bpr6es, well guy thanks for all the common. I fell alot better cause I can do my own thing .
