1992 Pontiac, could start but couldn't gear

I bought a 1992 pontiac Transport last August. I have to say it's been running very well as a 1992 year's old guy. However, there is a problem bothering recently. It has very stong start, but after about 50 km, when I break it down because of traffic light, the enginee shuts down reluctantly. Then I start it again. The enginee runs strong, but every time, when I shift the gear to rear or drive, the enginee shuts down. It was really driving me crazy, because everytime, it happens on middle of the road. A lot of cars lined up behind of me. That was so embarrassing. Thing wasn't that so bad. After 5 minutes, when maybe, (i guess) something cool down, I could shift the gear, I could drive home. Does anybody know what's the possible problem?

As I said in my mail to you I have the same problem.
I wrote about it in another forum and it seems like it must bee the tcc solenoid that is stuck when the oil is varm. It looks like its possible to change this part without taking the transmission out of the car.
If I have understod it right the problem can bee solved temporary by disconnectig the electric contact in the front of the transmision . It will increase the use of gas a bit but better then to be stuck in traffic.

I am going to try, but i am not sure where is the tcc solenoid and the electric connection from of transmission.
