first time racing need help
i went to the track 2day and got 3 runs in here is what i did
13.9 at 98 mph 14.1 at 104 mph 14.1 at 99 mph i did this with falken street 205 street tires on it. what can i do to make my times better besides upgrades. i launch at 4 grand. i spun a little on the second 2 runs. my first 60 foot was a 1.9 my second was a 2.1. thanx any help is good help |

Without upgrading anything, all you can work on is your launch and your shifts (speed and at what rpm you are shifting).
Typical turbo MR2s hit 1.9-2.1s in the 60'. I would not expect much better than that with sucha skinny tire.

well i wana get bigger tires for the rear. what kind should i get and i have another set of rims. should i put the tires on them or on a pair of race rims. u no sumtin a little lighter.

In an ideal world you would have a set of lightweight wheels with drag radials mounted on them for drag racing.

what do u recommend i get as for tires and wheels. and someone told me that i should put both of the spare tires that i have on the front to save weight. just to confirm this for there sake. is that or is that not safe. they are not made to go fast are they?
