Stock radio + sub/amp question
I'm curious to know if an amp and sub could be added to the stock radio in a '00 Silverado. Is it true that the stock harness doesn't have everything it needs to hook them up?

Quote:
you will need a line output converter about 15-30 bucks from a audio shop. that converter will tap into the speaker wires and convert it into rca's. then you hook a remote wire to the acc wire on the radio and run your power to the battery and ground to the frame. easy as that.
