b18c1 swap help

I know this is a little bitchy to ask, but i need to get this motor running in my 93 civic ex asap. I got the 95' b18c1 to fit in perfectly, the axels I have gotten in, the modded shifter linkage, but damn it, i'm having problems still! most of the electronics plugged right in, no prob, but i was looking for a general overview of how to hook this thing up, and the parts i need to do this. please help! thanks

Well what else do you need? Is it just electrical or some mechanical. I hope you do know you need to run some wires to the sensors straight from the sensor to the ecu or get a hasport harness. I got a modded shift linkage in mine and i hate it! You pop it in gear and you can swing it left to right about as good from 1st to 2nd. I would get a hasport or HCP shift linkage but if its just a quick fix then you are okay.

nemesis_2000 has this swap done, ask him about it. I don't know if him and his friends did it or if he got it done at a shop though so don't expect all your answers given.

There is a lot of wiring. do you have all the vtec wires connected?

Yes, he bought the car with the swap already done. But, I will doing the same swap he has and nemesis_2000 will be helping out along with civickid77. I have to find the h/b first which I am going to be looking hard today.....

I found this web site to be a lot of help since it's pretty detailed and has pictures as well:

http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/b18cswap/swap.html

Lots of how to's for the B18C:

sircivic: How hard was the swap? Did you ever get it running? What was the problem? This will be my first attempt on major engine work, but I am looking forward to it. Looks pretty straight forward and I'll have the digital camera on hand snapping away and posting when I run into problems

Thanks!
