Lightbulb vaccum lines

a mechanic told me i could remove some of my vaccum lines being i dont have emisions and all that stupid stuff and it would help me out and my engine.

i searched and couldnt find a write up of what to remove. if anyone can help me that would be good

You still don't have your car in your sig. You can replace egr valve with a block off plate. That will get rid of some lines, but leave the egr solenoid plugged in. Then there's the big charcoal canister debate. Just don't unplug your fpr vac line. www.vfaq.com might have some more info. I gotta go watch a movie now no more time to type. Maybe later if someone else doesn't help you first.

i have the egr block off already, i heard you can take the vaccum lines off the throttle body completely cause they are just for emissions.

and i updated my sig how is that

I have almost all my vac lines off my eclipse. All I have now are for the manual boost controller, boost gauge, and fpr. Everything else is not needed. There is a write on some site, I'll look but i can't remember where it was.
