K&N intakes for 240sx?

They probably dont have these for the 240sx, i searched around and couldnt find anything.

I wonder if they will make something like this for us soon. Ill buy it. Actually i need is that black plastic intake pipe, and not have the shiny aluminum one, then i can just put a K&N on and make a shield for the filter.

just custom fab a heat shield out of an old fan shroud or something and put weather stripping around the top so it seals to the hood and heat is trapped out...

yea ill have to do that, i have made one for my supra before, I used a hose wich i sliced and used some weather sealant glue to hold it on the box, and on the back side i used a heat shield wrap material that they use on water heaters. I was going to paint it all flat black, it would have looked nice. Ill try to construct something for the 240 as well. Ill probably end up using a regular intake pipe and paint it flat. This time ill get a CARB legal one so i wont have to worry about it later (getting a carb legal intake is much better than getting the whole new stock intake for $200-$300)

Anyone know if there is a flat black, CARB legal, intake out there for the 95 and up ?? If they dont make flat black CARB intakes i will probably buy an AEM 50 state legal and paint it.

i just bought one of those cheapy ebay intakes for 20$, and then strapped a K&N cone filter onto it.

thats the best idea. i would never spend more than 100$ on an intake. theres no point.

hit n run i did same thing on my older 240... but see i live in CA, i want atleast a CARB legal pipe, that way ill have something for the cops and smog places and never worry about it.

Its not a real shelby GT500 because those things cost an arm and leg in the worst condition haha but i did manage to get it for $3800 in the condition pictured bellow Then after 4 years or working on it its almost done, been sitting in the garage for a good year now. waiting for me...

just a 5.0 engine i pulled from a junky mustang and rebuilt,Its noting fancy like a 351 or a 427 big block, i was on a budged when making this car

My next one will hopefully be supercharged 351 after i sell this one
