Camshaft position sensor help?????
I have a 1996 4.3litre v6 and i had some problem with it running real rough for a couple seconds, i had a scan done of the engine and found that the camshast position sensor was bad of coarse the guy at the shop wanted a ton of money to replace it for me, so i thought i would do it myself, but i have know idea where its located on the enigne, and was wondering if anyone knew where this sensor was at on the enigne???

Re: Camshaft position sensor help?????
its on the distributor, get it from gm, and only gm, aftermarket stuff like that is pure crap and not worth your money, you must remove the cap and roter, then youll see the 7mm ( i think, could be torx or a different size) nuts holdin it there, and idk if this job requires a flash or not (if it does this is your $$ because without the flash, is no running)
