Safari Heater motor/fuel pump fuse

The blower motor stopped running. On top of the motor there is a block with 4 wires coming out. I wiggled the brown wire, the heater motor came on briefly then the 10 amp fuse for the fuel pump blew. I disconnected the brown wire, replaced the fuse. Truck runs with no heat.

Any ideas?

Re: Safari Heater motor/fuel pump fuse

The wires on the heater housing are for the blower resistor. Fairly common problem and easy to replace. They are available at most auto parts stores.
