For Sale

I have a 96 Cavalier 2 door 2.2 automatic. It has 97,276 miles on it. Has newer tires, new plugs and wires. Just replaced the timing chain, gears, and tensioner on Feb. 17th. 2006. It cost me $70 in parts and $323 in labor. I have the receipts for that. Its gonna need front brakes sometime and possibly a serpentine belt. The only thing absolutely wrong with this is the head is leaking on the driverside. It is NOT mixed with the oil. I do have another motor with 30,000 miles I can sell with the car for an additional fee. The car is on EBAY as well. I am looking to get $2300 firm and $2600 firm with the extra motor. If you would like pics or have questions email me at [email protected] Thanks for looking.

Good luck. I bought my 1998 for $1800.00 and had around same miles and only thing it needed was a tune up that cost me $100.00 in parts and my labor was free. No offense just trying to point out its a cavalier and its a 96 so i would be more like best offer instead of firm just my opinion.

Re: For Sale

i agree, i just looked up the blue book value at kbb.com, when doing this i gave your car ABS, A/C, power steering, tilt wheel, cruise control, am/fm cd player, dual airbags, and a sunroof, and of course a 2.2 auto with 97000 miles, with that car in absolute mint condtion, its only worth $1800, if your car doesnt have one of those extra features, and if you car is not in absolute perfect condtion, it will be worth less then $1800, if you sell it for $2300 with the buyer knowing about the leaking head, consider yourself VERY lucky

and i might be wrong on this but $300 for that motor with that many miles seems like a very good deal, you'd probably be better off selling it separately for a higher price

Re: For Sale

So Make Me A Decent Offer On The Car With The Extra Motor. Or I Can Sell The Motor Separate If Someone Wants It.
