2003 sierra denali truck problems???

i just purchased a 2003 denali sierra truck last week with 18000 miles. It looks and runs great, but my windshield wipers stay on and won't go off. The only way I can get them off is pull the # 25 plug. Any ideas on what is wrong?
Also, can anyone give me any pros and cons on their sierra denali 6.0?
