Eh.... even though it looks like there are some actual NICE cars in this movie, I still think it's gonna suck. This is going to push drifting into mainstream, and every little kiddie out there is going to be pulling their e-brake in the middle of traffic to see what happens.

Agreed. Right now, there's an underground group that drifts in my city. They hold events spread only by words because the Police here are very anal about this stuff. Last night I got pulled over for going 57 in a 50 zone , so you can see how strict they can be, especially with people who enjoy their cars. But these underground drifters lol, they're actually down to earth, so were the auto enthusiasts before fast in the furious came out and eveyone tried adding everything to their cars. It was about who was faster, but now most kids realise that their cars can't keep up to speed with other cars on the road, so I'm going to assume that they'll just turn to drifting for an excuse that "it takes more skill to drift then to drag". Drifitng isn't that popular in Regina, and I hope it stays that way. I'm just afraid that I'll wake up with a bunch of Nissan 240SX's parked all the way down my street. Oh shit.. too late

I like drifting. It's exciting to watch and terrifying to pull off, but all I see is a new form of rice.

I've seen a RSX drift one of the turns around here once. Pretty sweet, but scarey as hell when he's making a left turn and you're in the oncoming lane when the light is green. Yeah. There was one dude that would always make 180s in the middle of the street to race someone coming the oppsoite direction. He wasd driving a riced 4-door civic. He evetually totalled his car when he did it, stalled, and another car rear-ended him up the ass. He got raped.

It seriously can't get much worse. Everybody knows what drifting is these days. So kids go out and try it, but they only try it a few times then ya know what? Wreck. The 1st F&F's were easy to mimic, all you had to do was pretend to drive fast in a straight line. Drifting is a million times harder than that. So either these kids will fuck up their cars, or just give up after a while. Either way it can't get much worse than it is now.

Haha wow, Its one of those movies that everyone hates, but everyone will see. I agree with blackcrow, when I go see it im takin my winter beater! I know kids around here will try to do everything that they do in the movie, and Im going to laugh in their face when they crach mommy and daddys car into a light pole.
