1998 Grand Prix GTP

Hey guys I found a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. They are selling it for $8700 CANADIAN. Its a v6, auto, heated leather seats, p/sunroof .. and im guessing p/l p/w. It has 138,000 km and comes with a 1 year warrenty. The car looks to be in perfect shape

Re: 1998 Grand Prix GTP

How much in USD is $8700 Canadian? Doesn't sound bad.

Mileage looks good being less than 100K miles. However, run it through the mill and check it out thoroughly.

Re: 1998 Grand Prix GTP

GTP's are very reliable, but GTP owners tend to be a little rougher (read lead footed) on their cars than GT/SE owners. Be careful that the car hasn't been abused, and the more maintenance records the owner has the better. At last check, $8700 Canadian is about $6,500 US.

The GTP comes with a HUD - heads up display so you can concentrate on the road and driving. It projects a display onto the windshield right in the driver's line sight just like in a fighter jet.

You get a digital speedometer display, radio and CD information, cruise control, etc. It works in conjunction with the controls on the steering wheel. Also, you can raise and lower the position of the HUD on the windshield.

Check it out and make sure it works. Good luck!

It depends on what brand aftermarket you put in. There is a cable adapter and interface available so you can still use the steering wheel controls and keep that data going to the HUD.

For performance parts see links below:
