what wire size/guage can I use to replicate the plug wires on the RC211v engine?

30 guage wire wrap wire is easy to find though it is a little bit big for street car wires.

Well, let's see-
What diameter is plug wire? I don't spend much time around bikes, but the stuff on my car is 7mm. For 1/12 scale, 7/12 comes to about 0.58mm. So, that sounds like a good size to look for. Just about anything that size will do- enameled wire, vinyl tubing, solder, fishing line, thin spagetti... what ever you choose. As for measuring small diameters, check the how-to/tutorial area for how to use dial calipers.
