Pressure Problems
last week i had to replace the gasket set on my oil cooler and a couple other leaks that were on my 944. just wanted all the leaks to stop. Well now i got an even bigger leak. I've tried 2 seprate types of oil filters and everytime it seems to blow out my oil filter gasket. if anyone could give me any advise i'd appreciate it.

Re: Pressure Problems
First:
What type of filter are you using? I recommend the Mahle. The dealer or a good independent Porsche shop should carry it. If not, you can buy them by the lot on sleaze-bay. Second: Are you lubricating the gasket with a little bit of motor oil before you install it, and are you tightening ONLY hand tight?

Re: Pressure Problems
i just replaced my oil cooler gasket over spring break too. when the oil cooler gasket is off the car there is the plug that is a allen wrench, and a spring that is below the plug. did you mess with that because that has to do with the oil pressure.
