one last opinion

well, in my last thread i finally got the camaro started, and now onto the real problem, the tranny. (if you dont know im driving a '91 350 camaro
here is what happens when driving it:
start car, put into drive. the car takes off in first gear, and then at around 10-15 mph, it shifts into second perfectly, now i keep cruising down the road, then vroooooooom, it wanted to shift into third, but there is no third, it just sits there and revs if i dont let up on the throttle, so its like this
1st gear ---> 2nd gear ----> neutral
this is what it feels like when you are in the car, it doesnt grab third at all.
so what do you guys think.. time for a new tranny? the tranny fluid is perfectly fine, nice pinkish reddish color, it is also filled to the proper level.
thanks guys
-tim

Re: one last opinion

does the tranny fluid stink.. not that it would determine much but if it does, it needs a flush.
