Rear Squeeking.

1989 Thunderbird Standard 3.8

Not to long ago I posted a thread about the rear brakes squeeking while driving. Once I apply the brakes, the squeeking goes away. I recently had the rear brakes adjusted and cleaned, however the squeeking is still present. The brakes themselves feel much better, but the squeeking is still there. My mechanic while putting the rear wheels back on the car, noticed the wheels could lift up slightly (car is jacked up at this point). He mentioned bushing that were on some "knuckle" thats part of the rear supension.

Ive looked around for the bushing my mechanic refered to, but none of the autoparts stores seem to carry it. I was told that those bushing dont usually go bad. Which lead me to my first question is it normal for the rear wheels to be able to lift up while the car is jacked up????? If not, could the bushing my mechanic is refering to be the cause of not only the wheels lifting up, but also the squeeking from the rear?

I contacted Ford, and they can order the bushings (both rear wheels lift up while the car is jacked up). It seems that Ford actually had 2 different types of bushing so if I order them, I would have to be certain which ones I need.

Anyone have any ideas????? As always, thanks in advance....
