Lightbulb How to Disable DRL *Works*

I am new to this forum, but did a search on DRL and didn't find anything on this so here goes.
This might work on other year model's but i have only tested it on a 05 Sedan 3.6 liter.
Underneath the hood there is a fuse box and a "relay" marked "DRL". If you remove this relay the Daytime Running Lights will be Disabled, but everything else works as normal. There are no chimes or warning lights on the instrument panel. Hope this helps some people out for my first post....let me know !

Why do you want to disable the DRL's?

many people dont like the DRL's, I dont. just preference really.

BUT, this will only work on the 2005 models, NOT 00-04.

Hey Pat, hows it going.

there is a way to disable them, actually it will allow you to have complete control over your exterior lights. I have it, and it works great, installs very easily, and only cost $70 including shipping, you'll either have to find a place to mount 2 switches, or just hide the wires, but then you wont have the ability to change it on the fly.

If you want more info you can send me a PM or something, i'll let you know what to do and who to get in contact with.
