2000 Alero Won't Start
I Was Driving My Alero Today And When I Got Home I Shut It Off And Then Tried To Start It Back Up And Nothing Was There. I Have All Dash Lights And Headlights Work Good. Tried To Jump Battery But Still Didn't Work. Starter Seems To Click And Moves Belt Maybe 1 Inch Then Nothing. If You Know Whats Wrong Please Help!!!!!!

Open your hood and move or wiggle your battery connections. Make sure you only use one hand and the other is in your pocket to prevent yourself from being shocked. Be sure to actually move the connector on the battery post, that is, if it will move. Then try starting your car. If it does start, then you have a bad connection at your battery and I would recommend you remove both connections, negative first, and clean them and the battery posts. If that is not the problem, or you did not get the connectors to move, tighten them anyway and try starting the car again. Beyond that, it could be many things, but the battery connections are the first check.
