Ok, so I have a 1999 cavalier Z24, I put in a new head unit in, (cd player) and installed some neons too, and anyways some how a ground and power wire touched and short circuited, I thought it just blew a fuse at first, but this is the od part, my keyless entry doesnt work, my dome lights don't work and cd player, no power to any of these... I've check every fuse in the fuses boxes in the engine compartment and drivers side dash, I've checked plenty of wiring diagrams searching for anything that would connect all these components, because they all worked fine before the shot circuit, the only thing I could really find was a relay that I already replaced that was not the problem, I'm wondering if there is a fusible link or a circuit breaker that needs to be manually reset back hiddin in the dash somewhere? No idea what to do from here, I don't want to re-wire all new power wires to each component, because that would suck! ANYTHING you could suggest, or any ideas at all would be extremely helpful, im lost, don't know what to do, I'm probably going to end up tearing appart the entire dash and into the engine compartment tracing the power wires, so please help me! I love you all... any sugestions, please just post me somethin back, thank you for our time, pz

Re: electrical problem
check to make sure that you have power coming to the fuses.. that could narrow it down
