4t60-4t65

i have gp gt 97 with 4t60-e it is possible to put 4t65-e or is de same piece of shit because the case of my tranny is broken .gear of differential is out (scuse my english)

I would just rebuild what you have (4T60E) It is possible to switch but you would have to do the wiring,computer and who knows what else would pop up.

The Basic stack up is the same. some design changes on parts but still basically the same. the biggest change is that it is Line pressure is computer controlled ( new valve body and some other changes.) your 4T60E will have a vacuum modulator to control line pressure were the 4T65E has a Pressure control Solenoid (PCS) to control line pressure. Still 4 speeds with a lockup torque converter clutch ( pulse width modulated... PWM or electronically capable clutch... EC3 which ever you want to call it.)

I have the 4t60-e tanny what kinda of things could i do to it to make its stonger im open to w.e Money not a probley but i dont wanna put a racing tanny in it.
