Need Help!!!!!!! civic wont go over 80
I have a 2001 civic ex sedan. The check engine light came on and my cars engine cuts out at 4000 rpm's in any gear. i hooked up a scanner to read the code and it said somthing about my air to fuel ratio. i cleared the code and it popped back on a few miles down the road. Does anyone know what the problem is?

It could be that vtec is not engaging. Could be the clogged filter? Item no. 10 on the following chart.

Maybe ECM needs to be updated or replaced. OR Try this take your valve cover off to inspect rocker the intake side of rocker's by cyl. 4 on top of rocker ass is a 14mm bolt that blocks off a hole for oil passage for vtec., to much presure check there. Also check your oil level.
