Coolant smells??

Can someone help me out!
My car is a 95 cavy 2.2 automatic
I done a coolant flush a year ago if that helps. Well my problem is I keep on smelling coolant, but ony on the outside of the car not inside. Heater works fine. Could you tell my what is going on?? OH yeah, car does not over heat.
THanks

This is a silly question but did you check the hose clamps? Are you losing any coolant? It may possibly coming from vent pipe on coolant reservoir . Maybe the water pump has a very slight leak, check the weep hole on water pump.

Not silly at all, I have no leaks. I checked under the car everytime I park some where and no leaks.
Coolant is always at the same level I just cant figure out why I am smeeling it.

Definately odd. If level is staying the same maybe smell is just coming from res vent

Re: Coolant smells??

Why not take it in to a shop and have the cooling system pressure tested. That would eliminate the cooling system as a culprit if it holds it`s proper pressure for a while. Maybe the the cap is getting weak ????
