Autotoys.com...experts?

Well I wanted to pick up everything I would need to put my kenwood deck in the place of the Infiniti one (the display is gone) all while still using the clarion amps. I asked Autotoys.com what I would need to do that and they tell me:

"A vendetta 4.5 *MIGHT* do the trick, as for everyything else please see our dash kit section."

Now does this tell me what I need? NO!!

I tried to find the thread about replacing the head unit and can't find it. Does anyone know exactly what I need to install my Kenwood deck into my 93.5 G and be able to still use the factory amps?

i have a 91 g20 and all i needed was the harness which connects the factory harness to the deck and an antenna adaptor because the factory deck is 2 prong and the new deck should be one. i believe that is all you should need. there should be no other kits.

Is there a specific name for that harness? and will it keep the clarions on board with my new head unit?

i am not sure sabout the name of the harness. if you go to a shop that deals mainly with car audio they should have it in stock. i have a couple of friend who own a car stereo shop it it was just a basic harness like you would use for adding an aftermarket radio to any car. there sould be no problem if you get the right harness because the harness that you have to get uses the factory harness and wiring so it should work with the foctory ampliers.

www.crutchfield.com look up your car then look for wiring harness.
this should do the trick if you had the mag you can look it up physicly it FREE just order it & it will come!

Just go to audio king and get a wiring harness for your Infiniti G20. Make sure its the right year and all, ive been screwed over by that before.

Its really easy, no work involved, you dont need a mounting kit or anything to get it to fit into the dash at all.

A screwdriver, wirestripper, electrical tape, and 20 minutes is all you need. =]

Anyone know where I can get a harness to install my deck into my 93 G?

Online ordering would be really cool.

If you have a model # or something that would help tons.
