Car just started skipping??

On my way into work this morning my car started skipping especially going up a hill. Its worse over 55mph as well. Sometimes it will skip then briefly it will pick up power again. I put the pedal to the floor and the car wouldn't go over 65mph. Usually it pulls faster even at 75mph. Any suggestions???

In July 2005 I had this '94 3Cyl. rebuilt, new plugs, pvc valve, timing belt. It has run great ever since up until today. It has a 5-speed tranny with a new clutch as well.

How does it idle?July 2005,how many miles ago was that? Was it damp outside that morning? Is it the original fuel filter?Have you looked under the hood while its running at night you can sometimes check your coil/plug wires that way.Good Luck
