Clarion Factory Amps NEW head unit ??

I want to replace my factory headunit in my '96 G20. It has the factory Panasonic AM/FM/CD Head Unit and the Clarion Factory Amps in the trunk.

Is it possible to use the Nissan/Infinity BOSE adapter to make sure there is no harm done to the new head unit?

This question is also related to my wifes '95 Pathfinder. It is the same situation. She has the factory Clarion amps in the rear right corner wheel well. We are upgrading both head units but want to make sure we can use the BOSE adapter for them.

It looks as if both the '96 G20 and the '95 Pathfinder are running 2 Ohm speakers.
