Toolbox/bed cover for a short bed (CC)

I have been trying to decide between a toolbox, or a bed cover. Both have +'s & -'s. So, does anyone know if there would be a toolbox/bed cover combo sold anywhere that would fit both needs?

I don't need a fiberglass cover, just a black vinyl, or what not works as well. (anything to cover stuff/block wind drag)

Re: Toolbox/bed cover for a short bed (CC)

you could get a tool box that fits inside the bed like mine.. then you can get what ever cover you want. But they do sell toolboxes over the lip and bed covers that fit up to the tool box. I have seen it on some trucks.
I beleive they are the sliding covers. almost like mini-blinds.

I did some looking and found this.

you could put a tool box up at the front of the bed and still have access to it plus the extra security.

here is the box I was talking about. It sits inside the bed, not on the lip.
Long Chest & Heavy Gauge Chest

I hope this helps
