General concensus, N/A 331 Hp/Trq levels?
I'm just kind of wondering what the general concensus is for what a N/A 331 should put down at the wheels. Basicly just a H/C/I combo with of course a Tune and full exhaust. I dynoed mine a few days ago and it put down 350hp@6000rpm and 351Trq@4500rpm. Those are at the rearwheels and the air/fuel ratio at a very steady 12.8-13:1. No one i know has either a N/A, or 331 combo. Everyone i know either has a a forced induction 306/347 or, N/A 347's. No one in between. So is this a decent power level for a weekend/street/strip car that won't be revving to 6500rpm?
That is 1.05hp per cubic inch. That's good right? I mean for a n/a car? like i said everyone that lives by me has lots more money than i do and can afford forced induction setups. And they are putting down ungodly numbers.

are you N/A? and are you talking at wheels or flywheel? because with a 17% drivetrain loss thats 430 at the flywheel for me which is 1.29hp/cubic inch.

Dude, those are damn good number, but remember this, dyno number don't mean crap. Track times will always tell you were your power level is at. Look at your trap speed. With that being said, your numbers do look good to me, but there is a lot more to the story than just final dyno numbers.
What cam, com ratio, trans, etc. As for the escort comparioson, that is a non player. All engines are not created equal, even if his is/ is not putting more power per sq inch. There are too many variables for that even to be mentioned.

Re: General concensus, N/A 331 Hp/Trq levels?
It trapped 112mph so i know the power is there. This combo is very good to me. Even tho i'm still the slow one around town. and pretty much the only N/A car heh. Skyline i do have an off-the-shelf cam that has an rpm range that matches my trackheat intake. The comp cam's camshaft i'm using has a range of 2200-6200rpm, while the trackheat is good for 1500-6500rpm. If i had to do it all over again, i'd probably go with a custom grind from fti. But no big deal. I'm good for now. thanks for the replies.
