Re: Best Muffler Look

For single, I like the big open tip, but if it's dual exhaust I could go ether way depending on the car...

Re: Best Muffler Look

I dont own this car, but ive seen a few. I like the dual single like Apex N1. It looks killer. I also saw a 300zx with dual Apex N1 and it looked great.

Re: Best Muffler Look

I've never heard a 3kgt with an aftermarket exhaust. Does it sound like a ricer? I've thought of buying a borla cat back but I'm still debating.

Re: Best Muffler Look

Oof, you're missing out. I love the sound of my exhaust. It's rumbly, but not harsh. It's a really clean sound.

Re: Best Muffler Look

Ouch, "universal mufflers" are no-no's. I remember a friend who bought one for his jetta, he ended up spending more money on the fabrication to get it to work than an entire exhaust setup would have cost. Just go with a full exhaust kit. They'll run you $500-$1000, and are certainly worth it.

Re: Best Muffler Look

wow really ?
i always thought they were just some pretty basic bolt-ons or welds.... bc we do business(give them lots of good food) with this auto place and they always give me free oil changes and a ton of stuff whenever somethings wrong so i figured they could install it pretty cheap ? i duno 500-1000 is alot to me ..... but i guess if its worth it i might have to .. or just leave the stock ones which arnt bad i just wanted somethin new n clean

Re: Best Muffler Look

Personally, I love the stock look! If I ever get an exhaust system, I would still want it to look stock even though the piping and everything will change. Not to sure how the tips would affect the rest of the setup as far as performance and sound would go but I would like it to look stock still.

Re: Best Muffler Look

The exhaust does look amazing for a stock setup. especially compared to most cars.
