Another BAD SELLER BEWARE

Hey guys just giving you all a heads up.. Two buddies of mine who dont come on here have been ripped off for a good sum of money from a resin caster in Germany.. They asked to post it up here for all to see..

He goes by loco-poco on ebay.

His real name is
Daniel Mueller
Schulstrasse 13
35321 Laubach
GERMANY

lowaminiz is his aim name

[email protected] is his email

His website was..http://www.lowrider-modelle.com but that is now down.

He ripped one of my buddies off of over 400 bucks and the other one he stiffed him on a trade. He casts some different resin bodies and stuff.. We have tried to contact him with no return. If anyone knows this guy or knows of a current website or a way to make him respond let us know.

As for everyone else beware he is a shady seller. He visits another forum Im on and is active there and he is active on ebay so we know hes still around and working He just dosn't want to honor his previous sales and make it right by my buddies.. Thanks Rick

Re: Another BAD SELLER BEWARE

Yu he does the jetta bodies.. He also did the cutlass bodies and thats what he ripped my buddy out of. As for his feedback on ebay. Doing a deal on ebay and a deal via emails is two different things.. Ebay is a legal binding contract and most everyone buying there is from his same country.. So he knows they can do something about him stealing there money. Were as us from the US who do deal with him Via emails dont really have any recoarse to get our money.. This post was just a warning to be very careful when dealing with him. I know I wont ever deal with him. Later Rick

I bought just last month from loco-poco a Jetta resin and the seller was very correct with me.He don't accept paypal and so I paid with cash in letter and in a week he sent me the body with also a copy of a VR6 engine and other parts. He was very honest with me and I hadn't problem.
However the body is full of little holes and you have to work a long to make a good model.
I am a great VW fan and he said that he want prepare Jetta MK1-MK2 and Caddy TK.
I don't know why he had this bad behavior with you!!!

Re: Another BAD SELLER BEWARE

Do we have a "bad traders" thread? Perhaps we should.

Re: Another BAD SELLER BEWARE

IM really not sure why he messed with two of my friends, but he did. He had dealt with both of them before with no problems. Then about six months ago the one sent him some stuff for a trade and the other one sent him a personal check neither has head from him again. I think alot of it has to do with we are on different sides of the globe. It makes doing anything about him alot harder.

Re: Another BAD SELLER BEWARE

RallyRaider, i just said the same thing on another thread about 2 weeks ago. Some guys werent getting responces from a guy in South America that made resin kits. They paid for their goodies last year and are still waiting next to their mailbox. We should have a "bad traders" thread that remains open for posting and on the first page next to the FAQ and "read this before..."

phat... thats exactly why i dont buy from anyone overseas. Personally, i wont even buy from HLJ. Im freakin' surprised MarcoGTI didn't get screwed. Sending cash in an envelope is a big NO, NO. You can easily get fudged either by the person recieving the cash, or by the post office. Some countires, like Indonesia, are known for their theifs working at the post office. I sent 2 x-mas cards and none ever reached its destination. I go to one of my LHS that are always willing to order something, they dont have or dont carry, for me. Perhaps i'll pay a little more, but at least i wont get ripped off. Ask around, someone might be willing to order for you.

Your friends should keep nagging at the guy. Just dont do it in a rude manner that will only make him ignore your friends. Good luck to your friends

You are right to say that it's better not trust to put cash in letter,in fact I was very lucky!!!!!If I knew that these seller had this behavior with some guys,I didn't sent the money in a letter, but fortunately I got it.Unfortunately he didn't accepted paypal and I didn't know how to pay. However the letter was insured and registered so if he said that he hadn't received it,I asked a refund to post office.
But how did paid the guys that bought resin kits from him?

Re: Another BAD SELLER BEWARE

My buddy paid with a check.. Theres not much he can do now. its been to long. We have a few friends over there that are ganna look into it more for us. Visit him at shwos and see why he is not sending out the products. We have made a few call to him though. Im sure more calls will follow..

As for the cash thing.. As a seller I have people tell me there sending cash and I tell them not to all the time. I dont trust it at all.. So many things can go wrong with cash in the mail. There no way to prove they sent it, if its lost in the mail I look like a bad seller, and if it is lost both seller and buyer are out. I always tell people to send a postal money order. Best way IMO..
