Good intercooler brands.

I have an ailing intercooler and plan to up the boost at one point so it will need to be replaced no matter what. I am looking into aftermarket options and I was wondering what you guys think a good brand of intercoolers. I believe that HKS makes them and I have heard they are good. I just want to look into all my options.

spearco is good, but i would rather get something off of ebay. alot cheaper, don't get something just because it has a brand name on it.

Well that is why I am posting this here, I want to keep my options open. I could care less who makes it as long as it does a good job and is reliable.

So HKS and Spearco are good. Does anyone else know of some good brands?

I've seen the XS engineering and they're pretty much comparable on price. The Spearco units are plush, but so are their prices. I think you'll get what you pay for if going to be running heavy boost with the Spearco. Just watch the size and match it with the turbo to reduce lag and heat soaking. Happy boosting!
