sputtering
i have a 95 sts with over 200000 miles on her she is sputtering and almost overheating she gets up to 232 degrees the cat is fine and so is the fuel pump any ideas or comments would be helpful thanks

It could be a lot of things such as plugs, wires, coils, ignition module, coolant level, fule pressure regulator. Can you supply more information as to the conditions under which the sputtering occurs?

it happens all the time and now it reves up when i start it there is plenty of coolant and oil in it but it does have over 200000 miles on it

You'll need to see what codes are stored in the computer. On my '93 I do this by turning the key to ON, then simultaneously holding down the OFF and WARMER buttons on the climate control. The codes then read out on the dash display.

it only tell me oil and coolant but they are where they need to be.
