Question Switching Body Parts on Focus

Has anyone ever swapped the hood,Fenders,Lights,Front bumper, grill and etc. from a 2005 Style Focus to the other style like 2000? I was wondering because ive seen it done with the f-150s and Navigators, and the silverados with the escalades because they are the same body lines.

Re: Switching Body Parts on Focus

are you wanting to update your car to the 2005 front end?? Personally, I think that the original front end looked much better but thats just my opinion

Re: Switching Body Parts on Focus

Come to think of it the original does look better, I probably think mine doesnt look great because my headlights are sun dried or whatever you call it. I've tried using mothers polish on them clean them up a little bit but i'm just going to get new headlights maybe Projectors. Also about the facelift I just thought its more worth it to just get the svt Front bumper and grill and it will look 100 times better.

,Thanks for your opinions I will keep you updated

Re: Switching Body Parts on Focus

sand the headlights with 2000 grit wet sand, then polish

(right one untouched, left polished)

Re: Switching Body Parts on Focus

definitely not in a form that is anywhere close to stock......now if you were to have a slammin bodykit, some neon tubes underneath your car, and about 5000000 stickers on your car that would be a different story
