different questions idle speed & converter lock up

I am wierd I know, I will post my questions in this same post. My vehicle is a 95 obdII vortec 4 dr 4wd LT.

How can I idle engine down cold and hot? is it adjustable and easy to do?

How can I lower the minimum speed for trans converter lock up?

How can I lower the minimum temp for trans converter lock up?

Which temp does it use?

Idle is not adjustable.

You don't lower the lockup speed or you will be lugging the engine.

You don't lower the lockup temperature, it is set at that temp for a reason and that is to get the engine up to temperature faster.

Re: different questions idle speed & converter lock up

I am more interested in the "how" than the should or should not,,,

Thanks for the tips, I know all this can be done. The question is what is the best way?

Ask JEGS or SUMMIT about OBD2 reprogramers . They may be able to help you . Rob
