3057 problem

acorrding to the wal-mart book and computer my 95 takes a 3057 light bulb, problem is the socket is a regular barrel socket not the blade socket that the 3057 is, i did find that a 2057 worked and seems to be the same brilliants, my quesyion is, might there be something worng with my 95 lesabre or is the book just wrong, i also checked 94 called for same buld 3057 so does anyone have any ideas???

it was the right right rear tail light. book calls for 3057, but 3057 will not fit, the receptical on the car has a barrel type connection not a blade like th ebook calls for.

is it a tailight bulb or a 2 stage brake light bulb or something else? the burnt out one should say what it's number is.

I have never heard of a 3057 "tail light bulb"! I would say that the book is wrong. If they use Wal Mart employees to enter data, that would be easy to understand.

look in the owners manual, there should be a section near the back called capacities and specifications which will tell you the bulb numbers.
