Help!

In my 1992 Nissan 4x4 4cyl. my timing chain wore a hole through my timing chain cover and blew this oil and water mixture all over the place. Well we drained everything out, replaced my timing chain, my timing chain cover, Thermostat, spark plugs, and airfilter. We put it all back together and and put some oil in it last night to try and clean it out some and then we planned to repeat several oil changes until the engine was cleaned out. Well when we tried to start it it would't even turn over. We then pulled all my plugs out and tried it agian, and it turned over and started shooting that oil and water mixture out of were the sparkplugs go in. Which means I most likely have that stuff down in my pistons and cylinders. I just want to know what I need to do now. I just spent almost 400 bucks on parts. So I hope I didn't spend all that for nothing And now have to get a whole new motor... Any thoughts? Thanks,

Mallyard

Re: Help!

well first thing to do is keep turning it over with the plugs out to get that junk out of the cylinders. a little diesel or light spray oil will also help clean them, but if you are getting water in them i am afraid it sounds like you may have blown a head gasket. if you have a compression gauge run a compression test after you have the cylinders clear
