93 Lumina please help

I have a 93 Lumina that will not stay running it will run for about 10-15 mins then dies and is hard to start back up. Has new fuel pump was having problem with backfiring through the breather used fuel injector cleaner and that went away. It has 136691 miles

I had the same problem.

Check your plug wires and/or coil for arcing (at night).

Our starting problems and backfire were 100% due to the arcing caused by bad plug wires.

This is a very common problem with these cars when they get high milage on them. Like you said you used fuel injector cleaner and it went away for a bit... Your furl injectors need professional servicing or to be replaced because they are clogged. It only does it after a few minuteds becuase when the car warms up the ECM changes the air/fuel mixture and this is where the injectors cant keep up

yes more than likly the plugs are getting to much gas and is not able to burn it all

Try a simple tune-up (including new fuel filter) if it's been a while since you have. Never replace expensive parts before doing regular maintenance stuff.

checking to see if ur car is getting to much fuel is free pull out a pplug and see what it looks like if its black and wet then to much gas
