Fuel filter removal problems

Hey, on top of everything else ive been working on, i figure a fuel filter replacement is in order... Well i found it, and removed the top clamp, but i cannot get the hose to wiggle off for the life of me? Its a good hose, not worn or overly hard... anyone have any ideas on how to get this hose to release its death grip?

BTW, i already removed the fuel pump fuse and started the engine so the pressure is relieved.

Re: Fuel filter removal problems

WHEW! After some sheer brute force, we practically yanked the filter off the tubes... i was hoping i didnt have to do that, but we got it off and i replaced it; i think it was the stock fuel filter because it was heavy as hell compared to the new one and i could barely push my breathe through it.. alot of black soot came out.... all in all i got it done.
