Pissed at a friend.

Just posted this to release some frustration. Im not expecting any replys.

Ever have friends really piss you off? Ive been good friends with this guy for like 6 yrs, but I think its soon to end. He doesnt respect my wishes, and has developed an attitude recently that makes me want to bust his caps with a baseball bat. I think our friendship is pretty much over.

For instance, just the other day he asks me if I want to go see a movie (Men In Black 2) the next night with him, his g/f and his bro. I said no cause I had to work and I knew that I was going to be extra tired after work, plus I would be hungry and dirty, and theatre food is expensive. So after telling him firmly no, he shows up at my work while im busy with customers, and leaves a movie ticket for me. I was too busy to argue with him. So now im forced to go to the movie, otherwise he will have bought the ticket for nothing. So anyways, I manage to race home after work, change, shower, and have a litre of water. I manage to drag my a$$ there, and hes wating outside the theatre for me, as his g/f and bro went in to save us seats. They get some $hitty seats way off to the side. The movie wasnt really that good either

After the movie, I left quickly to go home, and he runs up to me and wants me to go to his place for pizza. I tell him im dead tired, and that im going home. His g/f starts begging me to go for pizza, like im some sort of dog. I get in my car and start for home.

At this point, you would think that he would get the message, but no. They follow me practically all the way to my house, pulling up to me at every light and pretending to race me. I was in my sentra, which isnt fast, and I wasnt in the mood for it either, as I was getting pissed off. They blew past me at every light, thinking that I was racing or something. They finally turned off and stopped following me.

Then the next day, I drop by his house to pay him for the ticket. Some ppl would be happy that he paid, but its my policy to always pay my own way. He wouldnt take the money, so now I feel bad about it. Then him and his g/f throw a few insults my way (dont ask me why) and then they wonder why I wanted to leave. They were making fun of me saying im "gay" cause i dont have a g/f, and that my car is a pile of shit.

I dont go out much, cause of my shyness, and cause I dont like to spend my money on that kinda stuff. Both his parents, and her parents give them whatever money they want for stuff. Neither of them have ever had to work a job, never mind slaving for minimum wage. I friggen work my god damn ass off for every thing that I own. Sure my car isnt as nice as her Impreza, or his Explorer, but I paid for it. I guess it shouldnt matter what others think, but it pisses me off. His new "Im god's gift to women" and "Im better than you" attitudes piss the hell out of me.

Thought id give it another try today and see how we got along. He invited me over a while ago, then after an hour or so, he practically boots me out to go with his g/f to some pool party. Sure, I wasnt invited, but why invite me over, just to leave? I get frustrated and at one point, I wanted to deck him, but thats not my style as violence solves nothing.

After all this, he wonders why im mad. Im wondering if he was sniffing some glue or what? I think our friendship is over anyways.

Well, ive typed a book here, but I think im done. I feel a bit better now.

Tell your FRIEND, he can always send me the tickets and I'll rush up to meet him from California! Meanwhile back in California I'd be laughing my ass off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sucks man... I know what its like to drift apart from a friend...

Maybe you should just deck him... violence doesn't solve anything, but it sure is fun...

If he is trying to force you to accompany him anywhere,and won't take no for an answer,you have no need to feel guilty about letting tickets etc go to waste.You need to take a good hard look at who is in control of your relationship,and if it isn't working for you,you need to tell him as directly as you can.
