2004 electrical problems

A few months ago, the fuse that controls the courtesy lamps was blowing. It turned out that a wire in the driver's visor was touching the body of the vehicle. Now I have a new problem. Yesterday morning I start it up and the dash lights (radio/clock, temp/compass display, and instrument cluster lights) were out. After work, I started it up and they were on. Halfway home, they went out and about 15 minutes later came back on. This morning, they were out until about halfway to work, then on again. Parked it, opened the door and hit the lock and they went out. Any ideas?
