Progress: VipCar/Racer Cima

1st: Paint

I primered it and cut the hood out, Testors Bright Blue, I layed down some Cheese Cloth over the body and sparyed Sapphire Blue Metal Flake over it.

Then I sparyed a Candy Apple Red over the whole car. You can see the flakes and the patterns from the cloth in the sun under the candy. The paint process isnt finished yet, I still have to spary more candy over the body and other parts.

Im planning on putting a Super J2Z motor in, with a suicide hood.

More progress coming soon!

Re: Progress: VipCar/Racer Cima

very very intresting. i like the color choice, i have a 1:1 porsche that USED to be close to a color like that. its hard to see the affects of the cheese cloth, or atleast for me, but the J2Z, wit the paint will be a sik combo, muy bueno

Interesting method of painting the body. Can't wait to see it finished.
