rear squeek
Hey guys I know this may sound a little off the wall but I have a 99 silverado and when i excellerate either forward or backwards I get a squeek that comes from the rear wheel area for a split second. Im just checking to see if any of you have had this issue and what u did to fix it. Thanks

Re: rear squeek
Squeaks under acceleration are almost always a u-joint going/gone bad.

Re: rear squeek
Ditto on the above, mine was doing that and $30 for the U-Joints and it stopped. At worse case I would say wheel bearings but it'd be doing it more than just accelerating from a stop I would say. Not an expert opinion!!

Re: rear squeek
I get the same problem about every 30k miles. All it ever needs is u-joints, so i agree with the above and change the joints.
